📍 The Stone Church Music Club - Newmarket NH 🎟 Tickets ADV $20 / Door $25 / 21+ ON OUR OUTDOOR STAGE! Let's celebrate 40 years in the making! And how sweet it is! Forty years ago (1986) a band was formed around U.N.H. with a desire to play as much as possible. That desire grew to touring New England, and then the U.S. sometimes for four months at a time. As Truffle built a following the old school way, they headlined respected venues, as well as supporting their heroes on stage; The Band, Little Feat, the Radiators, as well as their contemporaries of the day; Phish, Dave Matthews Band, Blues Traveler to name a few. After two independent releases, they signed with November / Sony to release ‘Nervous Laughter”. They have released two more since then as well as compilations and six of Gerard’s solo records. They have recorded with Bill Payne (Little Feat), and earned numerous awards. The accolades are many, but mainly they are still at it with only one summer pause in forty years. They have learned how to weave music into their lives and the wonderful music-lovers who support them. They will be celebrating at the Stone Church on 9/26 with guest musicians Scotty Shetler (sax) & Rockin’ Jake (Harp) playing music from their catalog as well as some of the swampy favorites that helped shape them.
