Their swampy, high-energy brand of Americana is tinged with influences from delta blues to modern alt-country (with just a touch of jazz, swing, zydeco and bluegrass thrown in for good measure), and their combination of acoustic and steel guitars, harmonica, flute and accordion reimagines familiar songs as well as their acclaimed originals. With the recent honor to represent Americana music at the prestigious Willie Clancy Festival, the illumination from Scuffletown continues to glow ever brighter! Jim Prendergast The Folk Music revival of the 1960s set guitarist Jim Prendergast on a sixty year journey that took him from busking on the Left Bank of Paris to the recording studios, orchestra pits and producer’s chairs of Nashville.
